Bolsa Grande extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 11-6 in the process. They came out on top against the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros by a score of 4-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 7, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Tank Britton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Mikey Haley Jr. was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024.

As for Rancho Alamitos, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Vaqueros fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Bolsa Grande since on Thursday.

On Rancho Alamitos' side, Carson Lamb made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolsa Grande will host Santiago at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho Alamitos, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Los Amigos at 3:15 p.m.
