Soccer Game Preview: Lehi vs. American Fork

Lehi is 1-8 against American Fork since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Pioneers will venture away from home to take on the Cavemen at 5:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lehi came up short against Skyridge on Wednesday, falling 5-1. Lehi were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Meanwhile, American Fork fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Skyridge on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that American Fork have lost by just one goal.

American Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lehi, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
