Softball Game Preview: Carroll Tigers vs. Corpus Christi Moody Trojans

Carroll has gone a perfect 10-0 against Corpus Christi Moody recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Carroll Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Carroll is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Carroll's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against King as Carroll made off with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Isabella Montalvo made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
