Salesianum added to the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Middletown, 23-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Sallies.
Salesianum took down the Cavaliers 23-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Caravel's Derrick Groomes and Aaron Hudson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Groomes has thrown for 1,027 yards this season, while Hudson has 15 catches for 354 yards. Taaron Brown from St. Mark's leads the league in rushing with 876 yards.
The Buccaneers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,563 from 3,746.
