West Rusk is 8-2 against Arp since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

West Rusk took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-31 win over Buffalo. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won three in a row.

West Rusk didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kameron Brown. Chris Sanchez was another major factor on D, making 16 total tackles.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Arp against New Diana on Friday as the team secured a 54-9 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

West Rusk better keep an eye on Zane Bourque. He was instrumental in Arp's win, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.

Arp was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 455 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Arp's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Casen Burgins, Chrisden Ellis, and Chris Jenkins, who each picked up one sack apiece.

West Rusk's record is now 7-2. As for Arp, their record now sits at 8-1.

West Rusk came up short against Arp when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 22-13. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
