Preview: Elkhart Elks vs. Buffalo Bison
Elkhart is 0-10 against Buffalo since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Elkhart Elks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffalo Bison at 7:30 p.m. Elkhart is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
Elkhart suffered their closest loss yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Teague by a score of 59-57. Elkhart has struggled against Teague recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Buffalo suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 100-45 loss at the hands of Mexia. While losing is never fun, Buffalo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1230th, while Mexia is ranked 359th).
Elkhart has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Buffalo, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-16.
Elkhart ended up a good deal behind Buffalo in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, losing 51-37.
