Baseball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Gadsden's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Organ Mountain Knights on Thursday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Organ Mountain, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gadsden will challenge Las Cruces at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldawgs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Organ Mountain, they will welcome Alamogordo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
