 There's no place like home for Melba, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Monday. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the Glenns Ferry Pilots  on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for Melba, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Kalli Adams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Olivia Atack was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Analise Robson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 On Glenns Ferry's side,  Taylor Martinez put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Martinez was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Martinez wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Kambelle King, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base.
 Melba pushed their record up to 10-7 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. As for Glenns Ferry, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-5.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Melba by a score of  15-1 later that day.
