            The Northridge Grizzlies will challenge the Greeley Central Wildcats at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Northridge will be strutting in after a  win while Greeley Central will be coming in after a  defeat.
Last Monday, Northridge humbled  Weld Central with  a  47-18 victory. Given the Grizzlies' advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 101st, while the Rebels are ranked 208th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northridge found their leader in sophomore  Sophia Carbajal, who  dropped  a double-double with 15 points and 16  rebounds. Carbajal is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as she's  now  pulled down ten or more in the last 22 games she's  played dating back to last season.  Bailey McGeen was another key player,  putting up six  points along with six  assists and four  steals.
 Northridge was working as a unit and  finished the game with 11  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weld Central only posted five  assists.
 Meanwhile, Greeley Central was beaten by Timnath 65-31 on Thursday.
 Northridge is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 51.4 points over those games. As for Greeley Central, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record  this season.
