Basketball Recap: Cobden Takes a Loss

Cobden was the 56-46 winner over Elverado when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Cobden Appleknockers fell 62-54 to the Elverado Falcons on Saturday.

Cobden's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Elverado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Cobden will venture away from home to face off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elverado, they will welcome Egyptian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Egyptian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season.
