It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pensacola Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pensacola Tigers with a sharp 8-0 victory. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Pensacola from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Layla Johnson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Pensacola Catholic's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those 13 games. As for Pensacola, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
