Baseball Recap: Clare Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Thursday just wasn't the day for Clare's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shepherd Bluejays on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Clare saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Louch, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Clare's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Shepherd, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

While Clare had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
