Mustang faced Bishop McGuinness in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Broncos fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 2-1. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Irish earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Mustang's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bishop McGuinness, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Mustang has already played their next game (against Seminole), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bishop McGuinness, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Piedmont on the 22nd.
