Basketball Recap: Greene County Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Greene County had won three straight home games and Zamiah Knight did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Greene County Wildcats secured a 58-52 W over the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats thanks in part to Knight, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 18 points along with eight boards and six assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.

Greene County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Presbyterian Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Greene County Wildcats challenge the Bay Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Presbyterian Christian and East Rankin Academy will round out the year against one another at at 1:45 p.m. on Friday.
