Soccer Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Christ Presbyterian Academy was not quite Baylor's equal in the second half on Monday. They came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Christ Presbyterian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Baylor are ranked 24th).

Christ Presbyterian Academy's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Baylor, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-3.

Christ Presbyterian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Baylor, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ensworth at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ensworth will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Baylor surely won't give up without a fight.
