Basketball Recap: Wagener-Salley Comes Up Short

Wagener-Salley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 104-65 loss at the hands of the North Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 104-45 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stetson Stacks, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine steals. Stacks' evening made it 22 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Michael Felder was another key player, going 8 for 15 en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and six steals.

Wagener-Salley's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for North, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Wagener-Salley nor North have any future games scheduled.
