Recap: Ravenna Ravens vs. Coventry Comets
The Ravenna Ravens suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 36-13 loss at the hands of Coventry. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ravenna has scored all season.
Aunna Coteat was a one-man wrecking crew for Coventry as she scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Coteat continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Madison Burkhart was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Ravenna has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Coventry, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-11.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Springfield the next time they take the court. Coventry will head out to face Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Ravenna will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
