Basketball Recap: Northern Highlands Find Success

Northern Highlands won the last time they faced Fair Lawn, and Lucas Dipasupil did his part to make sure it happened again. The Northern Highlands Highlanders were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over the Fair Lawn Cutters on Tuesday thanks in part to Dipasupil, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 19 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last nine games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jeffrey Weinberger, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Northern Highlands' record is now 9-4. As for Fair Lawn, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Northern Highlands has already played their next match, a 76-70 victory against Hackensack on the 23rd. As for Fair Lawn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-24 defeat against Ridgewood on the 23rd.
