Cranston West has gone 7-1 against Westerly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cranston West Falcons will face off against the Westerly Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Cranston West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-33 to South Kingstown. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Maggie Sjovall, who posted five points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla Buco, who put up 12 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westerly). They blew past Chariho, posting a 66-25 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Westerly has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cranston West, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Cranston West's way against Westerly when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Cranston West made off with a 71-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cranston West since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
