Preview: DeMotte Christian Knights vs. Kouts Mustangs & Fillies

The DeMotte Christian Knights will look to defend their home court against the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully DeMotte Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
DeMotte Christian's three-game losing streak came to an end. They breezed by South Newton on the road to the tune of 47-10. Considering DeMotte Christian has won three matchups by more than 36 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sophie Bakker was on fire: she dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of DeMotte Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Bakker, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kouts' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 36-29 to Westville.
The losses dropped DeMotte Christian to 6-3 and South Newton to 0-7.
DeMotte Christian was taken down by Kouts 56-25 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Thankfully for DeMotte Christian, Allison Capouch (who went 6 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 3 assists) won't be suiting up this time.
