Baseball Game Preview: Midlothian Heritage Jaguars vs. Corsicana Tigers

For the second straight game, Midlothian Heritage will face off against Corsicana. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Midlothian Heritage Jaguars duke it out with Corsicana Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Midlothian Heritage 3, Corsicana 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Corsicana will be up against a hot Midlothian Heritage squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Midlothian Heritage's pitchers stepped up to hand Corsicana a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cayden Campbell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Cunningham, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Midlothian Heritage's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Corsicana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4-1.
