Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Winslow

The Central Red Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Winslow Black Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Central took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Schenck.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winslow). They put the hurt on Maine Central Institute with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Winslow's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
