Baseball Recap: Wirt County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Tyler on Saturday, Wirt County came back down to earth. Wirt County came up short against Tyler on Saturday, falling 19-9. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Wyatt Boice was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Boice is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Brody Ewing was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wirt County fell to 2-1. As for Tyler, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
