Basketball Recap: True North Classical Academy Starts Season with Win Against Palmer Trinity

True North Classical Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Palmer Trinity Falcons 91-62. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead True North Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Vilmenay, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Boosie Swan, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. True North Classical Academy will square off against Sagemont Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmer Trinity, they will take on Doral Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
