Ironton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alexander Spartans as they made off with an 11-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Tigers, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ava Bihl made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jenna Compliment was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Aubry Shavers was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Ironton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 17-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Ironton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Alexander, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.

As of now, neither Ironton nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
