Volleyball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

Calabasas lost against Thousand Oaks on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Lancers. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-6.

Ramina Homayoun paced Calabasas' offense, picking up five kills. Homayoun got some help from Grace Yang and her seven assists. Charlie OConnell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Thousand Oaks, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calabasas will face off against rival Newbury Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thousand Oaks is set to take on their familiar foe Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
