Choctaw wins going away against Rockford Auburn

Recap: Choctaw Yellowjackets vs. Rockford Auburn Knights
The Choctaw Yellowjackets had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 72-58 win over Rockford Auburn. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Rockford Auburn still got an impressive performance from Rakim Chaney, who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds. The game was Chaney's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Danforth, who scored 14 points.
Choctaw's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Rockford Auburn, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Choctaw will challenge Southmoore at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford Auburn, they will head out on the road to face off against Freeport at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
