Everything went their way against the Horn Lake Eagles on Friday as the Oxford Chargers made off with a 48-28 win. With that victory, the Chargers brought their scoring average up to 26 points per game.
Oxford was led to victory by Jamarion Pegues and Drew Dean. Pegues rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns, while Dean threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Those 190 rushing yards gave Pegues a new career-high. Kingston Gregory was in the mix as well, providing Oxford with two touchdowns.

The win snapped Oxford's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. As for Horn Lake, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
