Soccer Game Preview: Hoover vs. Hewitt-Trussville

The Hoover Buccaneers will challenge the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hoover has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Hewitt-Trussville will arrive with four straight wins.

Hoover is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Vestavia Hills, who was ranked fourth at the time (Hoover was ranked ninth). Hoover lost 3-0 to Vestavia Hills on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Hewitt-Trussville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Homewood on Friday.

Hoover's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Hewitt-Trussville, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.
