            The Bryan Golden Bears will venture away from home to  square off against the Edgerton Bulldogs  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bryan is coming into the  match on  a  six-game losing streak.
Bryan couldn't beat Defiance  on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Golden Bears took  an  11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Edgerton made easy work of Stryker  on Monday and carried off  a  13-1 win. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by  exactly 12  runs.
 Kellen Sanchez was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  struck out 13 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Edgerton is undefeated when  Sanchez posts two or  more  runs, but 7-9 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Maddox Baker was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. He has become a key player for Edgerton: the team is 6-2 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 6-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jackson Flower, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Edgerton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stryker only posted  an  OBP of  .190.
 Edgerton is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Bryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
