Softball Recap: Trivium Prep Crimson Knights vs. Maryvale Prep Matador
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trivium Prep). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Maryvale Prep Matador 19-18.
Isabella Torres was a standout: she scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. She also got a hit, marking her first of the season. Larkin Grimm was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-4.
