Softball Recap: Louise Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bloomington last Friday, Louise came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Moulton Bobkatz on Tuesday, falling 20-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobkatz this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Louise has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Moulton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Louise will face off against Schulenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moulton, they will take on Incarnate Word Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobkatz's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Angels have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
