Baseball Game Preview: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Elk Grove Grenadiers

For the second straight game, Buffalo Grove will face off against Elk Grove. The Bison will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Grenadiers at 4:45 p.m.

On Monday, Buffalo Grove came up short against Elk Grove and fell 7-2. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Elk Grove's part, Isaac Santowski was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Santowski has posted since back in April. Cooper Casterton was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Elk Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buffalo Grove only posted a batting average of .207.

Elk Grove moved to 8-17 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Buffalo Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 7-21-2.
