Sterling waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Crowley County Chargers 6-0.

Robbie Carrasco was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

In other batting news, Sterling let Casyn Nolan and Dayten DiOrio run wild. Nolan went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while DiOrio went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Ethan Thyne also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Sterling pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Crowley County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

As of now, neither Sterling nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
