Baseball Recap: Bingham Miners vs. Herriman Mustangs
Bingham lost against Herriman on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Miners fell 4-1 to the Mustangs. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bingham got a good showing from Brandon Lowe, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Lowe has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Bingham saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Porter Larsen, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Another was Jared Orullian, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.
Bingham's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Herriman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.
As of now, neither Bingham nor Herriman have any future games scheduled.
