Soccer Game Preview: Winnacunnet vs. Exeter

The Winnacunnet Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Exeter Blue Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Winnacunnet's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Friday, Winnacunnet came up short against Goffstown and fell 3-1.

The Warriors' goal came courtesy of Johnny Granger, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Exeter and Merrimack finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Winnacunnet's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2. Exeter's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-2.

Winnacunnet suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Exeter in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
