Prescott dropped their record down to 17-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Flagstaff Eagles by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-6 defeat back in April.

Colton Champion was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Dominic Cruz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

As for Flagstaff, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.

On Flagstaff's side, Will Carpenter was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Welker, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Prescott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flagstaff, they will head out on the road to challenge Deer Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Skyhawks will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
