Soccer Recap: Costa Mesa Comes Up Short

Costa Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Laguna Hills Hawks, falling 3-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Costa Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Laguna Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Buena Park the next time they take the pitch. Laguna Hills will head out to face Buena Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Costa Mesa will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
