Opp proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 27) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the New Brockton Gamecocks out 30-27. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Gamecocks are ranked 299th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
