Soccer Recap: Bemidji Comes Up Short

Bemidji and Pelican Rapids pushed the score to 7-1 the last time they played Pelican Rapids, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Lumberjacks fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 1-0. Bemidji's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Bemidji now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Pelican Rapids, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bemidji will take on Hermantown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pelican Rapids, they will challenge Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
