Basketball Recap: Loranger Comes Up Short

Loranger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pearl River Rebels 74-36. The Wolves lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 69-59 score last time.

Loranger's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Pearl River, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

Loranger will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sumner's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Pearl River, they will venture away from home to face off against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
