Volleyball Recap: Northridge Polar Bears vs. Tri-County North Panthers

Northridge kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Tri-County North Panthers. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Northridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Tri-County North got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Paityn Davidson out in front who had 19 digs. Another player making a difference was Kiley Adkins, who had six aces, five kills, and five digs.

Looking ahead, Northridge will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Berne Union at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tri-County North, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Middletown Christian on the 19th.
