Volleyball Recap: Algona Comes Up Short

If Algona was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clear Lake on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Algona fell just short of Lake Mills by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Algona was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lake Mills earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Algona's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lake Mills, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Algona didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central Springs on the 20th. As for Lake Mills, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Clear Lake on the 20th.
