On Wednesday, Saguaro faced Catalina Foothills in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Saguaro Sabercats fell 3-1 to the Catalina Foothills Falcons. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Sabercats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Saguaro's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Catalina Foothills, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Saguaro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catalina Foothills, they will take on Campo Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Campo Verde will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Catalina Foothills surely won't give up without a fight.
