Baseball Recap: Vernon Hills Comes Up Short

Vernon Hills lost against Marion back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Vernon Hills came up short against Marion, falling 11-1. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Vernon Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Kim, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Kim hit this season.

Vernon Hills' record is now 2-5. As for Marion, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
