Soccer Game Preview: Bland County vs. Bath County

The Bland County Bears will square off against the Bath County Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bland County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Giles on Monday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, Bath County fell victim to Grace Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Warriors. Bath County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bath County was without their leading scorer, Laci Ryder, in Friday's contest. With Ryder sidelined, Ryleigh Phillips got her first action of the season.

Bath County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Bland County, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
