Softball Recap: Lake City Wins Going Away Against Post Falls

Lake City barely beat Post Falls the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Timberwolves blew past the Trojans 10-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

KaeLee Kolden was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Macy Waterhouse, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lake City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Lake City's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Post Falls, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lake City beat the Trojans by a score of 11-1 on Tuesday.
