Basketball Recap: Santa Ana Saints vs. Buena Park Coyotes

Santa Ana was the 65-37 winner over Buena Park when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Santa Ana Saints took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buena Park Coyotes on Tuesday. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Santa Ana still got an impressive performance from Issac Alvarez, who posted 14 points. Pedro Moran was another key player, putting up nine points.

Leading Buena Park to victory were Ernesto Portas and Emmanuel Charagu. Portas scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, while Charagu had 15 points and eight steals. The game was Charagu's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zyaire Eastland, who earned six points in addition to 12 boards and six steals.

Santa Ana's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Buena Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-20.
