Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Klawock). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Thorne Bay Wolverines 81-44. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Chieftains had established a 26 point advantage.

Klawock's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Thorne Bay, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Klawock will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Skagway on February 4th. As for Thorne Bay, they will face off against Kake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kake will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Thorne Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
