Baseball Game Preview: A-D-M Tigers vs. Boone Toreadors

A-D-M is 2-8 against Boone since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Tigers will challenge the Toreadors at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

A-D-M barely beat Creston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Panthers 13-0 on Friday. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Meanwhile, Boone had just enough and edged out Ogden 5-3 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Toreadors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for A-D-M and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Boone, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

A-D-M came up short against Boone when the teams last played back in June of 2024, falling 5-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
